They are looking to recruit a Marketing and Administration Apprentice to work as part of a small, friendly team to provide marketing, sales and administration support, helping them to raise awareness of their services through effective communication and promotion.

Responsibilities

In this varied and interesting role, you will help to make sure that each client receives exceptional service and that their business support journey is tracked and recorded.  Cool Ventures provide monthly, quarterly and annual comprehensive reports and you will support this process with data collection and analysis.

MARKETING

Provide support to Events and Marketing manager through:

  • Helping to implement Cool Ventures marketing plan through traditional and digital marketing methods
  • Supporting social media accounts and growing following
  • Assisting with planning and creation of content, contributing creative ideas
  • Obtaining and tracking feedback through the Mailchimp software platform
  • Assisting with updating/creating Programme of Events on Eventbrite
  • Administration for sales and attendance at events
  • Monitoring/analysis of sales and attendance data
  • Assist with creation and dissemination of Monthly Newsletter
  • Attend/Represent Cool Ventures at Networking/In person workshops and events
  • Attend/Moderate Cool Ventures online events
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities for new clients/events/community groups/collaborations
  • Assist with refresh/updating of website content
  • Collate monthly data reporting to MD
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to enhance the overall attendee experience.
  • Assist in designing & copywriting other marketing materials to help promote various programmes and events.
  • Record client interactions and attendance on the software system
  • Track client journey through the software system
  • Process new client registration forms on the software system
  • Send follow up email including feedback survey after event.
  • Prepare, collate and distribute welcome/resource packs for events.

ADMINISTRATION

  • First point of contact for clients via telephone & email
  • Respond to general enquiries into info@ email mailbox.
  • Help clients identify support requirements and book relevant activities.
  • Send out joining instructions/zoom links & relevant resources for each event.
  • Contact clients who have registered but not booked to discuss requirements.
  • Attend weekly team meetings
  • Disseminate information to team members as appropriate

OTHER

  • Provide general administrative support including: filing, scanning, photocopying
  • Other duties as requested by the MD.

Personal Qualities

Essential

  • English and Maths GCSE at level 4/C or higher
  • Desire to learn and embrace new opportunities
  • Keen to develop a career in marketing/business
  • Skilled in applying creative thinking to design and written communication tasks
  • Able to work to planned timescales & deadlines
  • An eye for detail and able to complete tasks to a high standard.
  • Positive and self-motivated
  • Flexible and professional approach
  • Communication skills – once trained, to be confident to speak with clients in person and on the phone

  • IT skills including: Microsoft Office – Outlook & Word and Use of social media and other digital marketing platforms

Desirable

  • Business and/or creative qualification at any level
  • Experience of working in a small business
  • Customer facing role or telephone experience
  • Working in a small team
  • Familiar with additional Microsoft Office programmes such as Excel & PowerPoint
  • Experience of using a CRM software system
  • Experience of using graphic design tools

Multi Channel Marketer Training

During this advanced apprenticeship, you will learn a vast range of knowledge, skills and behaviours, covering topics such as:

  • Brand management
  • Content creation, SEO and utilising AI
  • Online and offline marketing, including Google Ads certification

You will undertake the ground-breaking Professional Apprenticeships Multi Channel Marketer Level 3 qualification. Professional Apprenticeships are an Ofsted Outstanding rated provider, and also hold the title of Bristol and Bath Apprenticeship Training Provider of the Year for 2021.

The training is delivered using a hybrid model and can be delivered fully remotely if needed. You will have monthly 1-2-1s with your assigned tutor, along with monthly group sessions, where one topic will be covered in detail, and you will have the opportunity to meet and work with all the other apprentices on the course.

The programme is designed to mould you into a high-level, all-rounded digital marketer. You will learn in detail about:

  • Principles of Marketing
  • Social media
  • Brand management
  • Creating content
  • Evaluating and reviewing campaigns
  • Paid media (PPC) and much more

These modules are designed to jump-start your career and make you stand out in an increasingly competitive field, boosting your future earning potential.

Progression
